Congratulations Aliyah & Alexandra Warwick!

Join us in congratulating Aliyah Warwick as the winner of the FREE HopeChest Mission Trip Giveaway with Simply Love and Man Up!

After notifying Aliyah that she had won the FREE mission trip with HopeChest, she said:

“I would like my winnings to go to my sister, Alexandra. I am so happy that Alexandra will now be able to fulfill her dream of traveling to Swaziland to help at-risk children and orphans. I am deeply inspired by Alexandra’s sincere passion for improving the welfare of others, particularly through the education and empowerment of children. Her commitment is genuine and she doesn’t just talk about wanting to change the world, she is actively working to make positive changes happen now. I am so proud of her.”

So…join us in congratulating Alexandra Warwick who will receive the free mission trip as a part of the Simply Love and Man Up t-shirt project.

This summer, Alexandra will travel to Swaziland on a HopeChest mission trip with Known To Me and visit children at the Ludlati CarePoint. She had already been planning to go, and thanks to her sister, she will be able to make that a reality!

Alexandra wrote on her blog:

“As a college student who has lived a very comfortable life (in the sense that I have always had food, clothes, education, and family support) I feel an intense calling to give back to the world. If your brothers or sisters or friends are struggling, you help them. In my mind, it’s really that simple. It doesn’t matter where in the world your brothers, sisters, or friends are located, and it doesn’t matter if you’ve never met them. When you learn of their struggles, you don’t turn your back. I want to go on the trip to Swaziland, not for fun, not for a vacation, but to start something bigger in my life. I want to dedicate my life to educating children and eradicating global poverty and for me, the logical first step is to visit the world and experience communities that do not have the luxuries I take for granted. I want to learn all I can from the people there so I can begin to understand what is needed to create change.”

Congratulations to Aliyah and Alexandra!
