The changing of seasons not only brought cooler temperatures, but also new interest and appreciation from the children at Madabukeni for the lessons they are learning. The Discipleship Team members are continuing their weekly lessons at the CarePoint. They are now focusing on these lessons: “We have been chosen by God’s grace to make a lasting impact”, “Your appointment is searching for you”, and “You are fully equipped for your God-given assignment”. The children have really enjoyed these lessons and the activities the D-Team have planned and executed. It’s evident that these kids are receiving excellent discipleship from all the D-Team, and Eric and Jen Peterson.
Fall and winter are a busy time around the Kingdom of Swaziland. The following national holidays are observed.
Continue to send letters for your sponsored child. Remember that you can even send an email and the child receives a print out of your message. It is truly a joy to watch their faces as they read a special letter you have written. They treasure these and also are thankful that someone on the other side of the world is praying for them. Keep these coming!
Please continue to pray for the Gogo’s, Disciplers and Staff at Madabukeni. There have been some very challenging events in the past two months, including the tragic death of a child at another one of the CarePoints. Pray for strength, wisdom and peace that transcends understanding. While the community is deeply affected by difficulties and trials of life, they are not deterred from seeing their communities transformed by the unending love of God.
