04/11/2010, 16:27
Thursday morning, our first meeting was with a young woman about my age who, for safety reasons, I’ll identify as L. We met her outside in the middle of the city, where she hopped in our van. I immediately liked her. She was intelligent and witty, and when we asked her where we should go for our meeting, she directed us toward a cafe in a nice part of town

The Moldovan Crisis

04/09/2010, 14:06

There are over 250 brothels in the capital city of Chisinau and one of the greatest targets for sex-trafficking are girls who leave the orphanages. Yet, this is a country filled with secrecy. You don’t see hundreds of young women walking on [...]

An Apology

04/08/2010, 15:09
The Christian church owes an apology to the 25 million individuals in our world currently infected with HIV/AIDS. Those of us who claim to follow Christ’s teachings should be ashamed for what little we’ve done to help the countless millions of women, children and orphans who have died or are dying. Entire nations are going up [...]

Education Reduces HIV/AIDS In Swaziland

02/22/2010, 15:49
According to data provided by UNAIDS, the longer a girl in Swaziland stays in school, the less likely she is to have sex before age 18. How likely? Girls who make it to university or "tertiary" education have less than 20% likelihood of having their first sexual encounter before age 18. For girls with no education: over 80%. 4 in 5 girls with no education are exposed to sex before age 18.
