Mpholi CarePoint sits on the outskirts of Manzini, the largest city in Eswatini. Its urban population is roughly 70,000 people.
However, despite being near a large city, well over 60 percent of the children who attend the CarePoint would not have a consistent source of food without the CarePoint feeding program. This CarePoint was started by a compassionate “go-go” (grandmother) in 2008 on her own homestead. The attendance quickly outgrew the confines of her homestead, and she appealed to Children’s HopeChest to provide support.
With the partnership of the Beth Uberseder Connect Community, the children at Mpholi CarePoint have the opportunity to grow physically, spiritually, and emotionally while the Beth Uberseder Connect Community also experiences positive transformation!
