What does it mean to become a HopeChest Friend?

A HopeChest Friend is a caring person who commits to financially supporting the CarePoint and building a relationship with a child at that CarePoint. In some cases, partnership can extend past school age into vocational school or college. HopeChest Friends offer encouragement through prayer, letter writing, and relationship.

Sponsoring a child is one of the most personal ways that you can make an impact on global poverty. A sponsored child is a child who is given an opportunity to exercise their God-given gifts and talents.

When you sponsor a child, your support provides benefits that include:

Direct assistance for emotional, environmental, educational, and medical needs

Letter writing between child and HopeChest Friend. This includes delivery and translation when necessary

Discipleship classes providing opportunities for a believer to share Christ through word and deed
