The first part of the trip will be a celebration of 10 years of HopeChest’s relationships in Ethiopia. You’ll be alongside our Ethiopia partners and sponsors, and get to experience CarePoint and regional celebrations in Hawassa as well as country-wide celebrations in Addis Ababa. Then, you’ll travel with members of our Leadership Team to Uganda and spend time at the CarePoints and with our staff there. This is a unique Leadership Vision Trip that will provide a full understanding of the HopeChest model and the powerful impact of sustainable transformation for individuals, households and entire communities.

Upon your arrival to Addis Ababa, our warm and welcoming Ethiopian staff will greet you with transportation waiting to whisk you to a hotel where you can relax and recoup from your journey. While in Ethiopia and Uganda, every aspect of your experience will be tended to and coordinated by Children's HopeChest staff. All lodging, meals, ground transportation, and activities will be coordinated by our team. You can relax and enjoy all aspects of the celebrations while experiencing HopeChest's unique approach in providing hope to those who need it most.

Travelers will be responsible for booking their international round trip airfare as follows:
U.S. to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
Entebbe, Uganda to U.S

Trip payments made to Children's HopeChest will cover your lodging, food, transportation, and airfare from Ethiopia to Uganda.

*Costs include lodging, food, on-the-ground expenses, and travel expenses from Ethiopia to Uganda.
