What is Pure Religion Sunday?
Pure Religion Sunday is a national day of awareness, advocacy, and action for orphans and vulnerable children around the world. Taking place on Sunday, November 9, 2025, this is a powerful opportunity for global partners like you to inspire your community to champion hope, dignity, and friendship for vulnerable children around the world.
The Pure Religion Project aims to inspire and equip God’s people to live the “pure religion” described in James 1:27, "to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction".
Why HopeChest is Participating
On Pure Religion Sunday, HopeChest is inviting partners to share stories from their partner community — and help spark three new child friendships per CarePoint.
Through authentic storytelling and clear calls to action, you have a unique opportunity to connect people in your church or community with real children who represent the heart of the CarePoint you support. Together, we can move hearts to action and raise up a new wave of advocates and friends for children who deserve to be known, seen, and supported.
