JOB SUMMARY The Controller position is accountable for the general accounting and financial reporting operations of the organization, to include all financial services, A/R and A/P; insurance activities; the production of regular and timely periodic financial reports; maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to ensure that organization assets are adequately safeguarded and organizational risk is mitigated; enhance the accuracy of the company’s reported financial results; and ensure that reported results comply with financial policies and generally accepted accounting principles and/or international financial reporting standards. KEY JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Owns responsibility for the maintenance and improvement of an organizational structure and financial database adequate for achieving the department’s goals and objectives
  • Oversees the general accounting function, which includes cash management/reconciliation, regular and timely financial reporting, balance sheet management, and database management

  • Oversees all short-term and long-term budgetary planning and cost management in alignment with the organization’s strategic plan. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure and accounting software system

JOB SUMMARY The Community Partnership Manager (CPM) is the primary contact between selected U.S.-based church/connect community partners and international CarePoints. Primary responsibilities include day-to-day facilitation of relationships and Development Plan (DP) objectives between partnered communities. Key responsibilities include on-going and regular interface with HopeChest in-country personnel as the DP is executed for each assigned CarePoint; staying intimately aware of assigned CarePoint activities and DP progress; advancing the DP with the in- country staff and U.S. partnered community; proactive brainstorming, coaching, training, problem solving and planning with partners and in-country staff; regular reporting, communication and coaching to the HopeChest Partnership Leaders (HPL) and their community in efforts to maintain and increase sponsorship levels and advance the DP.

The ideal candidate must have strong interpersonal skills, project management skills and mind-set, an outgoing and engaging personality, and must be very customer-focused. International experience is favorable.

The Director of Community Partnerships is the leader of the Community Partnership Team (CPT). The CPT is the primary contact between selected U.S.-based church/connect community partners and international CarePoints. In addition to managing child sponsorship/Friendship Model, the CPT is also responsible for facilitating virtual and in-person visits or experiences to their partnered CarePoints and potential CarePoints.

This position will provide leadership, strategic direction, and directly manage and oversee the Community Partnership Managers (CPMs) and Sponsorship and Travel Managers (STMs). The Director will track and report all CPT reporting metrics, including team and organizational goals and objectives, to the VP of International Operations and the Executive Leadership Team (ELT). Additionally, this position will act as the point person of escalation in helping to handle delicate partner-related issues.

The position may also assume a portfolio of partners to maintain duties as assigned, depending on workload.

This person will ensure platforms are integrated correctly, including the content library system containing in-country content, and report on the performance of marketing initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Website Development

  • Implement daily website content updates on two websites—hopechest.org and greatercalling.com
  • Create and execute a plan to improve overall SEO ranking for both sites, including backlinks, clean URL links, meta titles, meta descriptions, etc. Ensure SEO best-practices are followed as new pages are created on both sites
  • Develop automatically-displayed web content as needed

Email and Marketing Automation

  • Review email marketing strategy, and provide recommendations for improvements
  • Refresh and build email templates as needed
  • Execute multiple versions of marketing pieces for different audience segments and for A/B testing, as dictated by strategy

Audio and Video Editing

  • Edit audio from various sources into final podcast episodes (monthly)

JOB SUMMARY The Travel and Sponsorship Specialist will support Community Partnership Managers (CPMs) and country offices by assisting with Community Partner travel and sponsor needs. Responsibilities will include working closely with CPMs, Community Partners, and occasionally sponsors to serve travel and sponsorship needs.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Travel

  1. Work with country offices and other departments to complete the following trip management tasks:
    • Confirm itineraries
    • Create Trip IDs with Finance Department
    • Generate trip budgets and invoices
    • Prepare trip wires with Finance Department
    • Coordinate with Marketing Department payment portals on the website, pre-trip communication, post trip surveys and calls to action, and transfer trip participant information to Salesforce for lead generation.
  2. Support Community Partners in trip management
    • Monitor that Community Partner trip leaders are adequately addressing processes/requirements embedded in Managed Missions and needed by country offices. Support country offices in trouble-shooting issues that arise.
    • Verify compliance with most-critical pre-trip requirements, especially background checks, policy acceptance, COVID waivers for all travelers, and payments.
  3. Coordinate travel Insurance for all travelers (including those on vision trips and employees that are travelling).
  4. Update travel documentation.
    • Regular updating of travel calendar
    • Annual update of the Travel Toolkit, supporting travel documents, and an FAQ.
    • Bi-annual update of standardized budgets in collaboration with country offices.
  5. Maintain updated scripts and instructions for country offices and community partners for their preparation of virtual trips.

Sponsorship

  1. Provide logistical support as needed to CPMs with sponsor acquisition processes, including pushes and launches.
  2. Work with country offices to respond to appropriate sponsor requests and questions as needed.
  3. Maintain up-to-date sponsorship FAQ with Operations Manager.
  4. Coordinate with Operations Manager on sponsorship processes as needed.

Other

  1. Provide virtual training on the Travel Toolkit, Managed Missions and virtual trips to country office staff, Community Partner leaders and trip leaders as requested.

Content Creation

  • Collaborate with the Marketing Director and technical marketing support, whether in-house or outsourced, to build and optimize various pieces of content to meet goals
  • Design materials for print and online use to support the marketing and advancement teams. (Experience with Adobe programs is a plus!)
  • Gather and utilize stories and photos from the HopeChest content library
  • Take photos and videos to support the organization’s content needs and/or give direction to others for photo and video content needs
  • Utilize design software to create images for use on social media, email, and websites
  • Manage content strategy for podcast; including researching and purchasing equipment, identifying podcast guests, writing questions and copy to direct interviews, recording interviews, proofing post-production content, and promoting podcast material

Social Media

  • Create strategy and content for all social media channels (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, and TikTok) and take ownership of consistent social media growth
  • Build social media posts and create ads to drive leads and brand awareness
  • Lead influencer campaigns, finding potential partners, building relationships, and pitching the HopeChest and Greater Calling mission and vision
  • Supervise social media interns when applicable

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • A BA/BS degree in marketing, communications, journalism, public relations, or a related field
  • 3-4 years of work experience in a similar role
  • Exceptional creative writing and grammatical skills
  • Experience with creating content for print and web
