Is there a time commitment?
A one-year term, renewed annually if you want to continue. We love our multi-year ambassadors, and this is a great way to help guide the next cohort.
What kind of projects can I support?
You can support the general fund by default, or focus on a specific country or CarePoint project that means something to you.
What kind of resources do I get?
A custom Ambassador Profile page to share your story, educate your community, and point people toward ways to help. A welcome packet with a toolkit for sharing, sample photos, and examples of how and when to reach out to your community. We host regular full team calls with other ambassadors so you can connect directly and make friends who are also supporting the work! Plus, you’ll have a direct line to our team whenever you need it.
Is fundraising required?
Not required, but it’s a huge help! The goal is to multiply connections, new advocates, donors, trips, and awareness. That ripple is what moves a community from surviving to thriving to succeeding. Fundraising is one way to create that, but it’s not the only one.
How much time does this take each month?
There’s no fixed hours requirement, it’s self-paced. We’ll guide you with a list of things that make a big difference, and you can work through them at whatever pace fits your life.
Do I need to have traveled with HopeChest?
Nope! Some ambassadors decided to join because of their travels, others haven’t. What matters is that you care about the work and want to share it.
What happens after I apply?
We’ll reach out to schedule a call, get to know you, and build out your Ambassador page together.

By leveraging technology and your personal network, you can make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable children and their communities.
- Host a dinner party: Host a dinner party and invite your friends, family, and colleagues to share your passion. Children’s HopeChest’s Ambassador Program is designed for individuals who are passionate about our mission and want to make a meaningful impact in the world. As an Ambassador, you’ll be equipped with the tools and resources you need to share our message with others and engage them in our work. You’ll have access to exclusive training and support, including one-on-one coaching, regular communication updates, and fundraising tips to help you succeed.
Unlike our Partner-Led Fundraiser Program, the Ambassador Program is not based on a singular project reaching a specific fundraising goal. You can be an Ambassador as long as you want and over the course of time, you may choose to support a variety of different programs and fund-raising opportunities. As an Ambassador, you’ll be part of a community of like-minded individuals who are committed to transforming the lives of vulnerable children and their communities, and you can stay involved for as long as you wish.
