Kaberamaido is located in Eastern Uganda. The town of Kaberamaido is unassuming, like any rural town, with it’s one main street of shops and open air market.
Kaberamaido CarePoint sits just on the edge of town, within walking distance (1-4 km) for many of the children in our program. The CarePoint leaders provide lunch and organize games and Bible stories for children who attend school locally. It is likely the only meal the children eat each day. All of the children in our program are single or double orphans, many of their parents are victims of malaria, HIV/AIDs, or civil warfare.
With the partnership of Point Community Church, the children at Kaberamaido CarePoint have the opportunity to grow physically, spiritually, and emotionally while the Point Community Church community also experiences positive transformation!
