La Cuchilla CarePoint is located in the village of La Cuchilla in southwestern Guatemala, approximately 160 km west of Guatemala City. The community is tight-knit and hardworking, though many families face challenges like limited resources, children leaving school to help during harvest, and malnutrition.
In partnership with Gethsemane Church, Risen Savior Lutheran Church, Saving Grace Lutheran Church, and Summit Community Church, La Cuchilla CarePoint provides a safe and welcoming space where children and families can access programs that support education, nutrition, health, and spiritual growth. Through these programs, children build on their strengths, families gain practical tools to thrive, and the community grows stronger.
