Los Amates CarePoint is located in the city of Los Amates in northeastern Guatemala. Nestled in the Motagua River Valley, the community is resilient and resourceful, though many families face challenges such as children leaving school to support their families, food insecurity, malnutrition, and gaps in public health services.
In partnership with King of Kings Lutheran Church, Los Amates CarePoint provides a safe and welcoming space where children and families can access programs that support education, nutrition, health, and spiritual growth. Through these programs, children build on their strengths, families gain practical tools to thrive, and the community grows stronger.
By connecting communities, this partnership transforms lives, builds lasting relationships, and empowers local leaders to sustain Los Amates CarePoint’s mission for generations.
