Sebeta Genet CarePoint (formerly Kind Hearts)
Kind Hearts CarePoint is located in the town of Sebeta, just outside of Addis Ababa.
The CarePoint is located on a large piece of property that has rivers running on both sides of it. These rivers meet at the corner of the property – a tannery pollutes one river and the other is polluted by a distillery. The water is toxic, and some of the children must walk through it to get to school each day. During the rainy season, the river floods, causing significant challenges for the children, staff, and community. Currently, there are approximately 100 children enrolled at Kind Hearts who are being served through partnership.
Kind Hearts was created to promote the survival, protection, and development of impoverished children and their families in the community, and therefore, throughout Ethiopia. With the partnership of the Micah and Casey Ault Connect Community, the children at Kind Hearts CarePoint have the opportunity to grow physically, spiritually, and emotionally while the Micah and Casey Ault Connect Community also experiences positive transformation!

Empower a Child at Sebeta Genet
Empowering a child is one of the most personal ways that you can make an impact on global poverty. It is more than providing for their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. When you sponsor a child, you build a relationship that shows that child they are valuable, worth loving, and worth investing in.
Your sponsorship is the starting point of a journey that equips vulnerable children, their families, and their communities to create sustainable transformation. When you sponsor a child with HopeChest, you are not just supporting one child — you are helping transform entire communities.
