Bukedea Startup Tools Fundraiser

Startup Tools
orphans of teso start up tools

This fundraiser seeks to provide start-up tools to trained youth to enable them to begin self employment and sustainable income-generating within their communities. Although they have acquired practical skills, most of them are unable to start work due to a lack of essential working tools and equipment.

Through this initiative, Bukedea CarePoint intends to provide appropriate start-up tools based on each beneficiary’s area of specialization. The project will help reduce unemployment, improve household incomes, promote self-reliance, and strengthen community development among vulnerable youth. The project will involve procurement and distribution of tools, mentorship, and follow-up monitoring to ensure effective utilization of the equipment provided. By supporting these youth with start-up tools, the project will bridge the gap between vocational training and employment while giving young people an opportunity to build productive and independent futures.

The guardians will cover the cost of paying to rent space for their children to work  as well as meet the repairs that maybe needed. The Project coordinator will conduct routine monthly monitoring and evaluation to ensure effective implementation, accountability, and achievement of the project objectives.

The project budget will cover the procurement and distribution of start-up tools and equipment for seven youth who completed vocational training courses and an additional two youth who have completed Nursing and Business Management studies. The budget will also cover the graduation party celebrations.
