Hosanna Emmanuel CarePoint provides a holistic service to 194 children. These services encompass medical care, emotional and educational support, ensuring that each child’s individual needs are met. By fostering a nurturing environment, Hosanna Emmanuel CarePoint aims to empower these children to thrive and reach their full potential. According to the organization’s current strategy, its
activities are centred on a community development plan that aims to strengthen self-help groups
(SHGs), which can help families obtain and generate their own income.

This project is designed based on the needs and assets of the beneficiaries, which can guide them in achieving their objectives. Through the bakery project, the local community partner can provide
job opportunities for individuals in need of stable income, thereby enhancing the financial stability
of families and improving their living standards. Moreover, the project complements the existing efforts of the CarePoint in providing food support, as it will ensure a sustainable supply of freshly-baked foods for the community. Additionally, the bakery project empowers the beneficiaries by
offering training in baking, food production, and business management.

This holistic approach not only fosters individual growth but also cultivates a sense of community ownership and pride. As participants gain skills and confidence, they can contribute to a vibrant local economy, further inspiring others to engage with the project. The proposed project aims to establish a bakery facility that produces bread and other baked goods for sale within the community, with the primary objectives of generating income and fostering economic empowerment for 30 CarePoint guardians, as well as generating revenue for the CarePoint in preparation for graduation. The total estimated budget of the project is $29,829.00.
