Kakira Start-Up Tools

The Kakira CarePoint plans to graduate 13 youth from its vocational training program in May 2026. We hope that after the graduation the youth shall be able to provide for themselves and therefore their families shall be able to live sustainable and empowered lives.

These students who shall be completing their courses will need to be supported with start-up tools to continue growing their independent businesses or be able to initiate private businesses. The amount needed to fund this initiative is $7,944 USD.

Monies raised will be used to  provide start-up tools to 13 trainees who will be completing training in their various fields this year. The CarePoint shall handle the procurement of the required tools for each course, and will conduct a graduation celebration to honor the graduates and deliver the tools.

The tool kits being purchased for the 13 graduates are:

  • 6 hairdressing
  • 3 mechanics
  • 2 Tailoring
  • 2 Electrical

Progress will be monitored and success stories will be reported. Will you help fund this project?
