We are aware of the current U.S. government health advisory regarding travel to Uganda and are closely monitoring the situation in consultation with U.S. and Ugandan health organizations and officials, as well as HopeChest in-country staff. Encounter Communities Being Transformed
During your visit, you’ll get to see several community projects including:
- Village Savings and Loan Associations (VSLAs) that help people experiencing poverty build financial stability
- Agricultural and animal husbandry projects that help families break the cycle of poverty
- Income-generating activities and small businesses
- CarePoint operations and their holistic impact in the community
- Leadership Training for students of the Ethiopian Youth Development Leadership Program (YDLP)
- Graduation day for the students in the Uganda Leadership and Entrepreneurship Development Program (UG-LEDP)
- Celebrate the first CarePoint graduations with us!
On this trip, you will be part of a small, personal group led by Ken Sparks, President and CEO of Children’s HopeChest. This fully-immersive vision trip allows you to engage, encounter, and witness transformational impact and truly innovative strategies breaking generational poverty, amidst the beauty and cultures of Ethiopia and Uganda. - Cost for Uganda Only: $2,686 for an individual room or $4,647 double occupancy + airfare of your choice*(see details below)**

A non-refundable deposit of $500 per person is due by Nov. 15, 2026.

Travelers going only to Uganda should book their return flight to the U.S. for departure after 9 pm on Tues., Jan. 26.
