On May 9, 2026, JP Dutton, along with Team Shone Gerbe from Watermark Church, will be participating in the Amway River Bank Run in downtown Grand Rapids to raise support for the youth center and marketplace in Shone. Learn more about Team Shone Gerbe and the project here.
I’m running the River Bank Run to support the Shone Marketplace & Youth Center in Shone Gerbe, Ethiopia through Children’s HopeChest. I began running in 2021 after a powerful spiritual prompting. Now every mile has purpose—bringing hope, opportunity, and support to a community I love.
