Uganda is a landlocked country located in East Central Africa

Many children in Uganda have lost their parents due to HIV/AIDS, with malaria, dehydration, and respiratory infections being the main causes of deaths in children under the age of five. Years of conflict between the government and the Lord’s Resistance Army (LRA) and other wars between various people groups have left a significant humanitarian crisis resulting in many displaced communities, orphaned children, and a vast insecurity of resources. Nearly 25% of the population lives on less than $1.25 per day.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row enable_first_overlay=”true” first_overlay_opacity=”85″ first_background_color=”#8ccecd” sbvcbgslider_enable=”yes” sbvcbgslider_animation_speed=”750″ sbvcbgslider_slide_duration=”3000″ sbvcbgslider_overlay=”yes” sbvcbgslider_overlay_color=”rgba(140,206,205,0.8)” css=”.vc_custom_1502472302502{padding-top: 3% !important;padding-bottom: 3% !important;background-image: url(https://www.hopechest.org/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/guatemala-5.jpg?id=1318) !important;background-position: center !important;background-repeat: no-repeat !important;background-size: cover !important;}” sbvcbgslider_slider_attachments=”1318″][vc_column][vc_column_text el_class=”whiteType” css=”.vc_custom_1495500364551{margin-right: 18% !important;margin-left: 18% !important;padding-bottom: 25px !important;}”]

North American communities are partnered with Uganda CarePoints and their communities of orphaned and vulnerable children.

When these communities work together, they are able to accomplish the specific goals they desire to accomplish for Uganda’s CarePoints. In addition, partnerships help provide children with education, nutrition, and basic medical support, along with regular Christian discipleship and mentorship. Our established CarePoints serve more than 2,000 children and youth. Programs that equip communities and families to move toward self-sustainable transformation include tailoring, poultry farming, microfinance, and agricultural farming, while additionally teaching valuable life skills.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row css=”.vc_custom_1496171111641{padding-top: 2% !important;}”][vc_column width=”1/6″][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/6″][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/6″][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/6″][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/6″][vc_column_text]
