Tesfa Tsegaye

Tesfatsion “Tesfa” Tsegaye Country Director, Ethiopia I earned my Bachelor’s in Business Management and recently completed my Master’s in Business Administration. I’m thankful that I can bring my education and my experience from working at Compassion International to my current position of leading the Children’s HopeChest Ethiopia Team. We are seeing rapid growth in this ministry that was launched in 2009 and has grown to serve more than 5,000 children. We established the first Youth Development Program for older orphaned and vulnerable children in Addis Ababa. I have a special place in my heart for children, and I believe that God created every child for His purpose. Additionally, one of the key focuses is establishing successful income-generating opportunities for the guardians of children in our programs. I am looking forward to helping more families become self-sufficient and seeing communities begin to transform.
