Kirov Orphanage is located in Kirov, western Russia, about 900 km northeast of Moscow.
The orphanage is a safe and nurturing refuge for children who have experienced loss, neglect, or family challenges. Originally founded in 1960 as a boarding school, Kirov Orphanage now provides both a home and a school for children with special emotional and behavioral needs from ages seven to seventeen.
Children live in family-style groups, learning responsibility, compassion, and trust, with older children caring for the younger ones. They also participate in sports, theater, crafts, dance, and discipleship lessons, gaining the skills and support they need to grow into healthy, confident, and independent adults.
