Jemo Family Economic Empowerment Project

ETFamily

The project Family Empowerment with IGA Specification aims to empower vulnerable families in Jemo CarePoint with the materials and expertise they need to start and sustain their incomegenerating activities (IGAs). The program will be implemented over time and will involve training sessions, seed money, and continuous support for families to help them start and expand their enterprises. A team of professional staff members will supervise the project and work closely with the families to guarantee its success. The goal of Jemo’s Families Economic Empowerment Project is to engage 90 children’s families in Income Generating Activities following capacitation through Community SelfHelp Saving Groups. This project will employ different activities ranging from capacity building and availability of loans for motivation and encouragement to the respective families who are involved in the initiative.
