The Merkato CarePoint has been working intensively to empower and transform the children’s families to make their livelihood better through various business initiatives stemming from the Self-help Groups (SHGs) in the community. One of those businesses is a laundry service, which will require purchasing washing machines, drying machines, and other equipment. This laundry service will benefit more than 140 families, and it will also move the community towards self-sustainability.
