This goal of this project is to increase household by creating additional income through goat-rearing. The project will be revolving in nature so that many families can benefit from its returns. To accomplish this, the Okocho CarePoint will purchase exotic he-goats to crossbreed with indigenous goats. This will increase the profit margin, expand production capacity, and decrease the growth period. We are confident that this project will succeed because the families in the community are agro-pastoralists. This will be a crucial driver in breaking the cycle of poverty in the Okocho CarePoint community.
