Woliso IGA Family Empowerment

This project aims to provide vulnerable families in Woliso CarePoint with the necessary resources and skills to start and sustain their own Income Generating Activities (IGAs). The project will be implemented over a period of projects and will include training sessions, seed money, and ongoing support for families to develop and expand their businesses. The project will be managed by a team of experienced HopeChest staff members who will work closely with the families to ensure the success of the project. The purpose of this project is to empower 80 families in the community on Income Generating Activities following their participation in the community’s Self-Help Saving Groups. This initiative will use an assortment of activities, ranging from capacity building to credit availability, to motivate and encourage the families who are taking part in the effort.
