Fueling the Future Series: From Russia With Love

Welcome back to the “Fueling the Future,” series where we explore the significance of investing in today’s youth and empowering the leaders of tomorrow. We are excited to share with you the first podcast episode of this series, where we are joined by four of our dedicated employees, including Rachel Andrews, VP of International Operations, and Masha, Yana, and Tanya from our Russian team!

In Russia, around 15,000 children leave orphanages each year between the ages of 15 and 18. While they may receive housing, benefits, and a stipend, they often lack guidance and support to transition into adulthood. That’s why the majority of our work in Russia is focused on empowering teenagers and young adults with mentorship, life-skills training, and other practical resources. With years of experience under their belt, our staff in Russia knows firsthand the incredible value and importance of investing in this age group.

So, as we launch the first podcast in our “Fueling the Future,” series, what better way to kick things off than by inviting our team from Russia to join us in the conversation? We are thrilled to have their insight and expertise as we explore the transformative impact of investing in young adults and the role they play in sustainable development around the world.

In this episode, we delve into the transformative impact of investing in young adults and explore the roots of Children’s HopeChest while discussing where our organization is headed. Join us as we embark on this exciting journey and discover the immense value of working with young adults to fuel sustainable development around the world.

As Wil Crooks, our VP of Strategic Partnerships, sits down with Rachel Andrews, Masha, Yana, and Tanya in this podcast episode, we gain insight into what it truly means to empower teens and young adults, as our guests share their personal experiences and examples of how investing in young adults can make a significant impact on sustainable development. This episode is a valuable resource for anyone interested in investing in the future and discovering the power of working with young adults!
